LISA MILLER, BCBA
Clinical Supervisor
Following an undergraduate degree in Biology with a Pre-Medical concentration from James Madison University, Lisa began teaching at an outdoor science school in California. After relocating to Colorado, she served as an assistant teacher in a local charter school, then began an internship with the Joshua School. After completing her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University, Lisa obtained her BCBA credential in 2014. She has spent the past 6 years providing ABA services in home and community settings for individuals of all ages and diagnoses. Lisa is especially passionate about language expansion and supporting quality sibling and peer interactions.
KATELYN KENDRICK, BCBA
Site Supervisor
Katelyn mentors and guides our team at the Broomfield center. She earned her Masters in Education at the University of Cincinnati and is working on her PhD in ABA the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. We are very excited to have her as she is a very strong leader in the Innovations family!
NICOLE FUGATE, BCBA
Site Supervisor
Nicole graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation psychology. While going to school in Madison, Nicole worked at a center for children with Autism and loved it. She decided to stay in the field and continue her education. After graduation, Nicole moved to Colorado and started an ABA Master’s program through Ball State University. She graduated and obtained her BCBA credential in 2019. Nicole was very fortunate to have Cathie as her supervisor and was given the opportunity to gain experience and grow with Innovations!
DIANE ALLEN, BCABA
Clinical Trainer
Diane oversees the training of our behavior therapists. She earned her BCaBA several years ago and is nearly done completing her Masters degree and BCBA requirements. Cathie has big plans for Diane that include supervising one of our clinics.
AUBRIE AMELANG, BCBA
Part-Time Supervisor
Aubrie Amelang, BCBA MEd, has a long history of working with children and adults with disabilities. She started her career as a special education teacher in the Beverly Hills School district where she taught life skills to students needing significant support. After starting her own family, Aubrie transitioned to working as an entry level applied behavior analysis therapist in California and later as a supervisor.
Aubrie received her bachelors degree in Special Education in 2007 and a master's degree in Educational Leadership in 2009. She originally planned to become a district special education coordinator, but realized that was not her desired career path. Instead, she really enjoyed working with students who presented behavioral challenges. After moving to Colorado in 2016, Aubrie shifted her focus toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst which she received in May 2018.
Aubrie spends the bulk of her time caring for her three young daughters. She also loves to go on adventures with her family, hike, read, and do escape rooms with her husband.

Position/Role
Although the Behavior Analysts Certification Board prohibits us from acknowledging our front-line team by name on our website, we absolutely want them (and our fans) to know how much we love and appreciate them! They work hard everyday to help our clients progress towards their behavior goals. They project compassion, positivity, and unerring faith in our clients' potential and bright futures in every session, everyday. Our client families tell us all the time how much they respect and appreciate our awesome staff, and we couldn't agree more! We choose our behavior therapy technicians carefully, and we are dedicated to helping them along their careers wherever ABA takes them. They deserve all of the support we can offer! We love you guys!!
WALTER "CHIP" CHRISTMAS M.ED.
Business Manager
Chip received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Santa Cruz in Environmental Studies with an Earth Sciences minor. He earned a Master of Education degree from Concordia University of Portland, Oregon. Chip started his teaching career with Vancouver Public Schools in the special education classrooms in 2004. He worked in various classrooms in the district including one specifically designed to utilize behavior therapy with children with autism. In 2009, Chip made a transition to working in the wind energy industry as a response to the ailing economy, but quickly migrated back to teaching in the role of "Wind Energy Technology Instructor" at Ecotech Institute of Aurora, Colorado for seven years. Chip continues to support the careers of his former students through very active industry networking and volunteering with their job placement. He is enjoying his new full-time role as Innovation's business manager. While past hobbies included surfing. rafting, skiing, snowboarding and sailing on tallships, these days his time is happily occupied with his three year old son, Sebastian, and two year old son, Braxton and a continuous battle with dandelions in the yard.
