WALTER "CHIP" CHRISTMAS M.ED.
completed a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Santa Cruz in Environmental Studies with an Earth Sciences minor. He earned a Master of Education degree from Concordia University of Portland, Oregon. Chip started his teaching career with Vancouver Public Schools in the special education classrooms in 2004. He worked in various classrooms in the district including one specifically designed to utilize behavior therapy with children with autism. In 2009, Chip made a transition to working in the wind energy industry as a response to the ailing economy, but quickly migrated back to teaching in the role of "Wind Energy Technology Instructor" at Ecotech Institute of Aurora, Colorado. Chip continues to support the careers of his former students through very active industry networking and volunteering with their job placement. He is enjoying his new full-time role as Innovation's business manager and hopes that someday his wife will bless him with a paycheck. While past hobbies included surfing. rafting, skiing, snowboarding and sailing on tallships, these days his time is happily occupied with his three year old son, Sebastian, and one year old son, Braxton.
LISA MILLER, BCBA
Following an undergraduate degree in Biology with a Pre-Medical concentration from James Madison University, Lisa began teaching at an outdoor science school in California. After relocating to Colorado, she served as an assistant teacher in a local charter school, then began an internship with the Joshua School. After completing her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University, Lisa obtained her BCBA credential in 2014. She has spent the past 6 years providing ABA services in home and community settings for individuals of all ages and diagnoses. Lisa is especially passionate about language expansion and supporting quality sibling and peer interactions.
