Here at Innovations Developmental Solutions, we use positive reinforcement to encourage our clients to interact with and enjoy their environment. What is Assent-Based Care?
Assent-based care is at the heart of our therapeutic approach. It involves actively seeking the client’s agreement and cooperation in their treatment plan, respecting their autonomy, preferences, and choices throughout the therapy process. This approach is especially crucial when working with non-verbal and pre-verbal children, ensuring that their voices are heard and their agency is respected.

Founder & Executive Director
Having served as a Clinical Director at an autism center near Denver, CO, Cathie led programs focused on early intervention, after-school therapy, social skills groups, and parent training. Prior to that, as a Behavior Therapist, she worked in various settings, including public schools, center-based programs, and client homes, gaining valuable experience in implementing effective behavioral interventions.
